My name is Ron Beck. Honestly? I am nothing all that special. I am an average Joe just like you. I have made many friends in my lifetime and even a few enemies. I don't think I am any better then anyone I come across. I have ambition and desire to be better so, really, I'm probably not all that different from you.
I grew up in a very small town with less then 5,000 people in it. Because of this I LOVE the small town feel. Although I live in Utah right now, I plan on moving back to Oklahoma in a smaller town in the future. I miss going out at night and catching fireflies. I miss the thunderstorms and the experience of all 4 seasons.
Events in my life led me out of Oklahoma and I have now lived in 4 different states. Oklahoma, Colorado, Oregon, and Utah. I love each state for what they have to offer and strangely enough, they all have something very unique to offer. I play guitar and sing and am a graphic designer. I am also in the works of becoming a financial planner. So i have my dreams and am doing what I will to achieve them. But enough about that...
The purpose of this blog is not necessarily to be a "Personal" blog, but to be a source of uplifting and encouraging reading. Or, At least, i hope that is what it becomes. I have no intention to "candy coat" anything I write. I wish this to be an honest portrayal of life and its hardships. And as you will see, we can overcome any of the hardships life has to offer.
